Originally from Douala, Cameroon, Hervé Kwimo embarked on his journey to the United States immediately after completing high school. He pursued his education at Virginia Commonwealth University and the School of Visual Art, earning a BFA in graphic design and an MFA in photography, respectively. Renowned for his minimalist yet purposeful design approach, Hervé's multicultural upbringing imbues his work with a diverse perspective and inclusive problem-solving methods.
His creative philosophy revolves around exploring unconventional paths and infusing the familiar with an element of surprise. Having resided in New York City for over two decades, Hervé's career began at O, The Oprah Magazine, where he started as a junior designer. Since then, he has collaborated with prestigious publications and agencies including Pentagram, Robb Report, Self Magazine, The Hollywood Reporter, and Combs Enterprises, among others.
Currently serving as the Design Director at Condé Nast in New York City, Hervé continues to inspire with his simplistic approach to design and his commitment to pushing creative boundaries.
