ABOUT

Hervé Kwimo is a New York–based Design Director working at the intersection of video, motion, and brand storytelling. With over 15 years of experience, he leads creative across editorial, branded content, and digital platforms at Condé Nast, shaping how stories are told through moving image, sound, and visual systems. His practice is rooted in communication first—while grounded in design, his work is not driven by aesthetics alone, but by the clarity and strength of the idea behind it. He believes what makes a piece resonate and endure is not how it looks, but what it says and how it connects, resulting in work that is thoughtful, precise, and culturally aware.

Hervé specializes in video-first storytelling, combining editing, motion design, and sound to build narratives that feel both intentional and immediate. His process often begins in the edit, where rhythm, pacing, and audio shape the emotional structure of a piece, before evolving into visual systems that scale across platforms—from social content to global campaigns. Across disciplines, including video, design, print, and experiential, his work is unified by a strong focus on concept-driven thinking. For Hervé, the idea is always the anchor—it gives the work direction, makes it memorable, and ultimately makes it stronger.
